Hah yeah
Like I said this season has been a pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to be quite the down year as a whole, but I can’t qualify taking 9 guys to NCAAs as a down year. You’re post speaks to a lot of the things I think we all had concerns about. Gus made a huge jump.
Im interested in how the differential treatment of this year and last year’s redshirts shakes out. I think next years guys will be much more prepared. Brent, Kyle and Dunn definitely weren’t ready to be full season starters. None have wrestled a full season at their best. Dunn started great and has trailed off, Norstrem has just never caught his footing and Brent started rough, but has finally adjusted to the competition.
157 and 174 ended up being much better then anyone could have expected. Bolen has been stellar and BC id say was less of a liability than 125 and Hwt up until he got hurt.
I do see your concern when it comes to recruiting and perhaps you are right in the circumstance that 2020 is a weaker than needed year.
